MDoctrine Program

Motivation

The aim of MDoctrine is to study and generate doctrinal intelligence approaches, convert them into models which will serve as core for articulating the rest of the systems composing nowIS.

The discipline of the Intelligence is going through a significant transformation process. Although the intelligence product is traditionally understood as being produced manually, nowadays all the efforts are aimed at systematisation and automation of Intelligence production methods.

This paradigm shift entails a series of new needs, among them a need to normalise and systemise the processes surrounding the Intelligence cycle. The selection of a doctrine and intelligence model design are the basis for the rest of the elements – that is to say procedural, methodological, training, organisational systems, etc, which compose intelligence cells, departments, platforms or infrastructures.

In other words, the doctrine orients and inspires, to a great extent, the definition of the remaining components enabling nowIS systems design, deployment and management in organisations of any size or purpose.

Goals

The aim of MDoctrine is the continuous improvement of I2CM (Martín-Juárez), an intelligence model of universal application typified by the evidence-based concept. At present we are working on the 5.2. version of the 12 CM approach.

A further goal of MDoctrine is to review existing intelligence approaches and based on them define additional intelligence models.
